Nespresso Lattissima Coffee Maker Review
The Lattissima is the next step in Nespresso's one-touch brewing. It is able to brew espressos as well as lungo coffee in a minutes or less and it can take the company's wide selection of capsules.
The machine can also be programmed to make the exact amount of drinks you want. This is a wonderful feature for busy households.
Easy to use
This black
nespresso commercial machine machine that is basic in appearance, is easy to maintain and use. It is simple and minimalist in appearance with a single button on top that regulates everything from powering cleaning to the brewing process. It is easy to take off the lid, insert the capsule and click to start making coffee. It is quick to heat and provides numerous drink options, such as double-shot espresso, a 5-, 8 or 18-ounce cup of coffee. It comes with a steaming tool that can give a cafe-like feel to your drinks. Although we like its simple interface and compact shape, we found that the machine doesn't perform like more expensive models in making rich espresso and coffee. It's also not as easy to recycle the capsules as other machines we tested. This is why Nespresso isn't the best choice for our side-byside test.
Quick to Brew
The Nespresso machine can make a cup of espresso within 15 minutes. The heated water from the reservoir enters through a pump,
Nespresso machine pop and
Nespresso Machine Pop then pierces small holes at the top of the coffee pod. It is then mixed with the compacted ground coffee inside and drips into your cup. The machine created an intense, delicious espresso with just a hint of bite when we tested it with Jones Brothers and Bestpresso coffee capsules. We also tested whole, 2% and almond milk and found that all performed well.
Easy to clean
Cleaning of a
nespresso coffee maker machine is essential both inside and out. This helps to keep it running smoothly and ensures it's safe to use. This can also enhance the taste of your coffee. It is possible to clean a Nespresso with a variety cleaners that include vinegar. It is however recommended to make use of a descaling solution instead, since vinegar can be damaging to your machine.
To clean your
nespresso machine pop, start by taking out all the pods and cleaning the drip tray and capsule container. Fill a sink with warm water, and add a few drops of dish soap. Let the drip tray and capsule container soak in the soapy water for some time to remove the gunk and stain. Rinse the drip tray and capsule container using hot water. Then apply a nonabrasive cloth or sponge to scrub off any residues or stains. After you scrub the drip tray and capsule containers then rinse them once more and allow them to dry completely before returning them to your machine.
After your machine has been cleaned, it is time to descale. Follow the steps in your user manual to perform a specific procedure. You can also make your own DIY descaling solution with white vinegar or citric acid. If you're using vinegar, make sure to make use of white vinegar instead of apple or balsamic vinegar, because they're too abrasive for this purpose.
